San Diego paid sick leave
Local ordinance, in effect since July 11, 2016
1 hour for every 30 hours worked in the city (or 40 hours awarded at the start of the benefit year)
All employers (employees who work 2+ hours in a week in the city) in San Diego must let employees accrue and use up to 40 hours a year. California's state law also applies; employers follow whichever rule is more generous to the employee.
