Connecticut paid sick leave
In effect since January 1, 2026
1 hour for every 30 hours worked
11+ employees in Connecticut (1+ from January 1, 2027) must let employees accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid sick leave a year. Employers with 1-10 employees must comply from January 1, 2027.

Details and exceptions
- Applied to 25+ employees from January 1, 2025, and 11+ from January 1, 2026.
- Seasonal employees (120 days or less a year) are excluded.
