Pittsburgh paid sick leave
Local ordinance, in effect since January 1, 2026
1 hour for every 30 hours worked in the city
All employers (sized by worldwide employees) in Pittsburgh must let employees accrue and use up to 72 hours a year. Fewer than 15 employees: 48 hours a year. Pennsylvania has no statewide paid sick leave law, so this ordinance sets the rule.
