Pay ranges required in job postings
Pay scale (wage or salary or range) and a general description of benefits and other compensation, such as bonuses, stock options or incentives

| Penalties | For active postings: up to $500 (1st offense), $2,500 (2nd), $10,000 (3rd and later), with 14-day and 7-day cure periods for the 1st and 2nd offenses; lower fines for postings no longer active |

Details and exceptions
- Employers must also announce, post or otherwise make known promotion opportunities to current employees within 14 days of an external posting
- Penalty and cure details come from IDOL FAQs citing 56 Ill. Adm. Code 320.240 and 320.260
