Pay ranges required in job postings
Hourly wage or salary, or a range; a general description of benefits; and any other compensation programs the employee would be eligible for
| Who it applies to | 10 or more employees over 20 calendar weeks (counted inside or outside New Jersey) that do business, employ people, or take applications in New Jersey |

| Which jobs | Internal and external postings for new jobs and transfer opportunities; public employers and employment agencies are covered |
| Penalties | Civil penalty up to $300 for the first violation and up to $600 for each subsequent violation; one job advertised on several platforms counts as one violation |

Details and exceptions
- NJDOL has proposed departmental rules (57 N.J.R. 2220(a)); check the status before relying on rule-level details
- Temporary help agencies need not post pay and benefits but must give applicants that information at interview or hire
