Michigan paid sick leave

1 hour for every 30 hours worked (or front-loaded)
All employers must let employees accrue and use up to 72 hours of paid sick leave a year. 10 or fewer employees: 40 hours a year. Accrual began October 1, 2025..

- The ESTA replaced the Paid Medical Leave Act on February 21, 2025. Small businesses started October 1, 2025.
